Tanks are armored and mechanized vehicles with heavy firepower. They usually incorporate cannons and machine guns to support allied infantry. These tanks vary in characteristics such as different armaments, armor, speed, and size.
In Centaura, tanks behave much like Armored Cars, being heavily armored, AI-controlled vehicles that are capable of devastating infantry and requiring heavy weapons or explosives to be destroyed. They are more durable than the Armored Cars, able to withstand a dynamite blast, and do not stop to shoot at enemies, instead firing as they move. Currently, tanks can be found on Mons Planus, Roland's Prairie, Route 23 and Talona.
1908-1914[]Tanks of the Southern Corvus War and Aquilan Campaign.
Service[]Whitemouth Estuary[]A heavy design made by Antares. It is armed with a 2-inch cannon and three machine guns; two on the sides and one in a rotating turret. It is seen at Whitemouth Estuary being transported by rail. Roland's Prairie[]It participates in Roland's Prairie as armored support for the Antareans. Since they're bulletproof, Antarean soldiers are able to use the tank as cover from the Aquilans, although they're vulnerable to Anti-Tank Rifles, Aquilan Field Guns (able to destroy them in two hits in fact), dynamite and tripwire bombs. If a tank is destroyed, a new one will spawn in to replace it after a little while, although it has to drive to where the old tank was destroyed. The tanks will stop permanently at the third sector of the map to prevent Aquilan players from flanking behind when the Antarean players move to the fourth sector. Tanks can also destroy an Anti-Tank Pillbox after damaging it a few times with their cannons. Route 23[]It participates in Route 23 as armored support for the Antareans. They function much the same as in Roland's Prairie, but unlike there, there is a finite amount of them. Antares must prevent all of their tanks from being destroyed before capturing point C, or push to point E to win. Antarean tanks will fire up on Aquilan tanks should they meet. Talona[]Antarean tanks appear in Talona, providing support to the attacking Antareans. Gallery[]Trivia[]
Service[]Mons Planus[]The E/1911 tank appears in Mons Planus after the 25-minute mark. It is armed with three machine guns: one on each side and one in the front. After the 35-minute mark, the tanks can push from C to D. These tanks can be destroyed via flamethrowers, dynamite, and tripwire bombs. Artillery can also destroy them as well. Route 23[]They reappear in Route 23 as armored support for the Antareans. Unlike in Mons Planus, these tanks come in finite amounts, and will assist Antares in pushing to point E. Gallery[]Trivia[]
Service[]Battle of Route 23[]They are present as support of the Aquilan troops in the Battle of Route 23 if Point C is contested or conquered. They'll spawn in pairs of 2 and push until destroyed or if they reach the earth berm. If an Aquilan tank encounters an Antarean vehicle, it will fire upon it. Talona[]They are present in Talona and will appear to support the defending Aquilans. Gallery[]Trivia[]
Service[]Mons Planus[]The Cetus machine gun tank appears in Mons Planus after the 25-minute mark. It is armed with three machine guns: one on each side and one in the front. After the 35-minute mark, the tanks can push from B to A. These tanks can be destroyed via flamethrowers, dynamite, and tripwire bombs. Artillery can also destroy them as well. Gallery[]Trivia[]

Trivia[]
A light tank model that was fast and had a decent armament.
An improved medium tank model that could withstand Grusan 20mm anti-tank rifles from the front.
A heavy tank model. It was “heavy” in the sense that it had multiple turrets, though high-caliber anti-tank rifles could still penetrate its armor.
A very compact tankette operated by two crewmen.
A variant of the RM-I fitted with anti-aircraft guns.

Additional Trivia[]
- Tanks make their first canonical appearance on Mons Planus.
- The machine guns on tanks resemble the MG 08
machine gun or the Schwarzlose
machine gun.
- Tanks share the same death sounds with the armored car when burnt with a Flamethrower.
- Tanks are capable of fighting other tanks, with one example occurring in Route 23 and Downtown Talona
- The tanks differentiate in speed. An example of this is the Aquilian Heavy tank and Cetan Machine Gun tank. The machine gun tanks advance in a faster speed than heavy tanks.
