Bastião Ventoso (Librae: "Windy Bastion") is an upcoming Breakthrough map in Centaura. It is planned to be the second map of the Vegan Campaign.
Lore and Gameplay
Taking place after an assault on the Murus Plateau, Antarean high command planned a landing on the coastal defenses of Vega. A fleet of Fang-class battleships escorting several troop transports would land on Bastião Ventoso, an old Imperial Grusan castle.
Note: Development is subject to change and not confirmed yet.
It is planned to be a breakthrough map with ferries transporting soldiers onto the marshy beaches of coastal Vega, before assaulting an old Grusan castle. There will be crocodiles present in the marshes.
The map is planned to be a breakthrough map with several different modes of defenses for the Vegans. The Antareans arriving from the shore would assault a dyke before crossing into swampy terrain. The Antareans crossing the swamp would have to assault the Vegans which defend a stone-walled position. Lastly, the Vegans would retreat to the Bastião Ventoso in a siege against the Antareans.
When all locations are lost before the timer ends, the Antareans would win the match, however when the timer ends the Vegans would win the match.
Vega has a chance to have Light Tanks to support the ground troops most likely during the final phase (assault of the castle).
